Steel baskets anchored in Providence River are filled with oak logs and set ablaze. Variety of music styles played throughout summer. Don't let the crowds spook you, it is worth it. More

It just so happened that the day we arrived home, we were fortunate enough to have a gift awaiting us in Providence that evening-- yes a gondola ride. The gondola ride was just as magnificent here in Providence because unlike Venice we enjoyed the city from the inside... More

I love the mood of waterfire. It tends to be a hushed atmosphere with interesting music-I have never heard this type of music before (it is described on the waterfire website) I would call it a cross between mystical and religious. The crackling fire, the smokey scent, the music...magical. More

We stayed at the Westin and were able to view across the street from the hotel (and Park Place Mall). If you are sensitive to the bonfire... More

Themed and set to music, the operators set fires on the river in cauldrens that are then restocked. Free to the public. Many local restaurants and bars to choose from. A real experience More
