This is the place to buy everything you need for your Rocky Mountains vacation. Their prices are ,unbeatable, their service is most professional, and they have huge stock of everything you can think about. We also took a half day snow-shoe trip, with one of their guides, and it was better than anything we could imagine. Must stop shop during... More

Great place to rent snowshoes for hiking in RMNP. $5 for shoes and $1 for polls. We were worried about paying too much in Estes Park for the winter gear we didn't have room to pack, but found the prices at Estes Park Mountain Shop much better than even Dick's or other outfitters outside of Denver. These guys were fantastic!!... More

We stopped here to rent snowshoes, and were extremely satisfied with the quality of their gear, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, and their prices. Our snowshoe rentals were $6 per pair per day ($12/day for two people), and the snowshoes and poles themselves were easy to use and in good condition. I also rented snow hiking boots for... More

I took my two daughters to the indoor climbing centre at the Estes Park Mountain Shop. They had a fantastic time. My older daughter (age 12) had climbed before but never really enjoyed it and my younder daughter (age 8) had not done it before. Victoria was our very knowledgable and enthusiastic guide. She got coached the girls up a... More

My son and I booked our 6 hour fly fishing trip through Estes Park Mountain Shop. My son and I both ended up with a Grand Slam (Rainbow, Brook, Cut Throat and Brown). All total we probably caught over 50 fish. Steven Nance was our guide and deserves all the credit. He was wonderful. My son had never fly fished... More

My MSR backpacking stove starting leaking gas like crazy. I took it here and they obviously have THE expert in Estes Park when it comes to MSR stoves. Without any promise of any sale he worked with me in taking apart the stove and replacing parts and seals which I had with me. He even called the factory customer service... More
