Every year we take our daughter to the zoo before it starts getting too hot. This weekend was my sons very first time and he loved it. Its worth it just to see them smile and giggle at the animals. We usually take a picnic lunch and eat under the trees.

This was a great zoo to visit. It was very clean and we saw a lot of interesting animals. It was nicely done. Very hot the day we visited, but many places to get out of the sun.

The animals had just been fed and it was already a hot day, so we didn't get to see much activity at ten in the morning. I visited the zoo with mu husband. Upon entrance, we were given a map. Note that if you want to do the zoo/aquarium/gardens in a day, they stop selling the combo tickets at 12 noon. Took our grand daughter to the Zoo while on a visit. Very nice zoo...well laid out...clean and very friendly staff. Price of admission was $12, but substantial discounts were available for NM residents & Seniors.

Everyone in your family will enjoy the wonderful Rio Grande Zoo. They have hundreds of animals and other attractions to keep you busy the whole day! Everyone will have fun seeing the animals!
