This theatre was built in 1929 and is so art deco it is amazing. Not your New York art deco, but southwestern style. The detail is increible andit sits right on Route 66 in the midst of many other interesting buildings. But none hold a light to the KiMo. “A Wonderful Building”

We take all of our visitors to the Kimo. The architecture is wonderful inside and out. The Kimo has many different venues throughout the year and we have been there many times. Take your camera if you visit the Kimo; it is one of the jewels of Albuquerque. More

I am shocked to be the first to review this lovely historical masterpiece. I'm sure many others have seen it, but I'm glad to add it to Trip Advisor! Take a self guided tour and grab an informative paper on the old, working theatre. Just be sure to check on open touring hours prior to going. If not too busy,... More
