We spent the morning on our tandem bike and with our dog in the basket biking this long bike path. The locals were very nice greeting us as we biked past. There is a great walking/biking/riding trail between the Rio Grande and the ditch banks. It gets you away from major roads and has underpasses so that you do not have to cross heavy traffic. It is very flat and pet friendly as well. More

We rented bikes from the Bikesmith, who met us at the trailhead. He provided us with everything we needed, great bikes, helmets, locks and a trail map and suggestions of places to stop. The trail itself is 10 miles and quite flat. It is beautifully maintained and does not require any stopping for road crossings. It goes right past several... More
