For such a small city, Albuquerque has a very nice Natural history Museum, I have visited other ones in major cities that were not as good.

For its size and location, the NM Museum of Natural History and Science is a wonderful place to take kids. The admission price if well worth the exhibits, from the dinosaurs to the formation of the Earth to the volcano exhibits. You can easily spend a few hours here and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The main exhibits... More

The short version: A collection of live animals, fossils, and a variety of other exhibits make this a worthwhile stop in Albuquerque. The long version: My wife and I recently moved to Albuquerque and have been seeing all of the local attractions on the weekends. This trip just happened to be on the first of the month, when they have... More

Not much time spent here. This is great if your with kids, it'll give you plenty of time to teach them something. At most an adult can burn through here within 20-30 mins.

Great place to learn! Atmosphere is quiet. Loved to go when I was writing essays and presentations for school!

Enjoyed seeing the Titanic exhibit. Had a quick tour and although its quite a small museum there was enough to see to keep me interested. I'd recommend it for a quick stop.

We go to this museum about once a year because we live in Albuquerque. There is a lot to see here and most of it is excellent. Today we went to see the Titanic Exhibit. It is interesting; there are many posters that tell various facts about the ship, its construction, accommodations, etc. And, there are reconstructions of a first... More

The New Mexico Museum of Natural History offers fascinating information on the dinosaurs, minerals and wildlife in New Mexico. In addition, from April 2013 until sometime in October 27, 2013 it is offering a special exhibit on the Titanic, "the ship that couldn't be sunk." Upon entering the exhibit, the visitor receives a boarding pass with the name and cabin... More
