My girlfriend and I just moved to Salt Lake City and got student tickets to see Mozart's Requiem at Abravanel Hall. It was excellent. Even though we came in late and heard the first act from the hallway, it was a pleasant experience. Inside you can see the Mormon temple at night and the city and mountains. The acoustics are... We love the super cool art piece that is in the atrium of this hall. We always attend the Messiah sing-in during Christmas time and just love the architecture and lighting of the space. More

Having been to Abravanel Hall several times this last visit to enjoy Joe Bonamassa was the best. We had great seats although there is not a bad seat in the house, the staff was friendly and attentive and the sound was phenomenal. Unfortunately, there was not a beverage other than water to be found. I do wonder why they brought... More

Our family transplanted to SLC years ago and find that SLC offers cultural opportunties that rivals cities across the country many times bigger. Abravanel Hall hosts the Utah Symphony and they offer a wide range of music from pops to classics. Besides the Utah Symphony Abravanel Hall also hosts special national touring companies include an Abba group and a Beatles... More

I love Abravanel Hall. I've visited this performing arts center many times for a variety of occasions. For symphony performances, my high school graduation, my nephew's elementary school choral performance as well as a variety of other special occasions. This building's architecture is absolutely beautiful and since the Chihuly sculpture was added in the lobby I have been in awe... More

The worst acoustics I have ever experienced in a major symphony hall. We went to hear the Vienna Boys Choir. The space muddied the clear voices of the boys to the point where some of the words were almost incomprehensible. For example, they did a medley of Beatles songs at one point, and you couldn't make out some of the... More

For a mid-size city Salt Lake has an excellent symphony. You cab get good seats at a low price. I usually sit between the fifth and tenth rows and prices are reasonable. Parking is easy and you can frind free or cheap parking. More

Worth the price of a concert ticket. They can "overdo" the sound for a big production, but acoustically its A1. More
