This little town of Port Angeles has a little gem in this place right on the shore and they deserve our support. They primarily had very cool small, interactive (you could touch many of the life-forms there), pools or aquariums filled with critters. So if you are a fan of tide pool exploration, like we have in the SF Bay... More

Like stated in my title, this place is small. But, they have packed in a lot of cool specimens and activities for kids into this little place. During the winter months admission is free, but they do ask for a donation. There are several tanks with local marine life. The fun part was the three touch tanks, which include sea... More

What a nice surprise to discover the Feiro Marine Life Center. Volunteers are very knowledgable and helped us get the most out of our visit. The kids are excited to sign up for the summer day camp program. More

The marine life center is an excellent place to learn more about our underwater flora and fauna. The volunteers are happy to help - but you need to ask questions. There is a small entrance fee and the visit can take from 20 minutes to 2+ hours - your choice. Bob aka "SpongeBob" is knowledge and excited about sharing new... More

This is a small place, not fancy, but kids will love it. Lots of touch tanks, some sand boxes and really nice and helpful volunteers. If you aren't familiar with the marine life that lives in the area, you will be suprised at what we have in our cold waters. I don't have children, but I have brought my niece... More

If you love marine biology and the tough little life forms that live in tidepools, then this is heaven. If not I don't know what to say. It is not a fancy place, but there is a ton of information available from the docents. The aquariums are not your sterile one or two species little boxes. These are places teeming... More

When we visited the marine center the tanks and pools were incredibly clean and filled with all types of marine life. There were at least 6 staff present to educate, answer questions and encourage visitors to learn about marine life - including the microscopic animals visible through microscopes. The touch tank was full. The staff was enthusiastic and encouraging to... More
