What a wonderful place! Lots of activities and exhibits for the kids and beautiful art exhibits. Mammal Mayhem was really cool! More

I don't understand how this museum continues to survive. This museum never has interesting exhibitions and never has interesting collections. I am always disappointed. Who is organizing the events there? Who is marketing and advertising this place? BOORRRIING This is why nobody comes to Macon. More

So much to see and do for the kids and adults alike. Kids will learn so much here and it's a great place to spend the day with your kids. More

Small but very nice.  If you're in town and have time, it is nice.  Rotating exhibits, small animal area, kids area and outdoor exhibit with trail. More

The Mark Smith Planetarium at the Museum of Arts and Sciences is awesome. If going to Macon, this should be a stop. More

Nice museum. Entrance leads to a traveling science exhibit and rotating art exhibits with an interesting artifact exhibit in back. Planetarium shows are nice especially the Sky over Macon Show. Nice animal exhibits. Bug day is a great time to go. I enjoy it but it's really great for the kids. More

Go online to see what the Museum has and has coming b/c the kids could be just as thrilled as you are. My sons love the giant insect exhibit, but I've enjoyed picasso and other artists over the years. More

Had high hopes for this museum, but maybe we expected too much. There were 2 exhibits: japanese kimonos, and ancient china/dishware. Both bored us. There were animals, but mostly small caged reptiles, one bird and (the highlight) very cute but sad looking tamarinds. The Planetarium show is geared toward children, not curious adults. The nature trail is tiny, though it... More

If you are traveling with children there is many things for them to explore here. Some days they have different events such as scavenger hunts or gazing at the star through telescopes. It not that hard to find but its not directly off an interstate. More
