I don't understand how this museum continues to survive. This museum never has interesting exhibitions and never has interesting collections. I am always disappointed. Who is organizing the events there? Who is marketing and advertising this place? BOORRRIING This is why nobody comes to Macon.

So much to see and do for the kids and adults alike. Kids will learn so much here and it's a great place to spend the day with your kids.

Small but very nice. If you're in town and have time, it is nice. Rotating exhibits, small animal area, kids area and outdoor exhibit with trail.

Nice museum.
Entrance leads to a traveling science exhibit and rotating art exhibits with an interesting artifact exhibit in back. Planetarium shows are nice especially the Sky over Macon Show. Nice animal exhibits.
Bug day is a great time to go.
I enjoy it but it's really great for the kids.

If you are traveling with children there is many things for them to explore here. Some days they have different events such as scavenger hunts or gazing at the star through telescopes. It not that hard to find but its not directly off an interstate.
