various assorted farm animals. we went there on their farm day and saw lots of farm animals. one weird turkey and the lambs were very noisy. can go for a walk along the harbour which is ok but not the nicest view of auckland but be prepared to step on some sheep/cow poo on the way

A truly superb place to take children or visitors not used to farm experiences. Excellent to see many farm activities first hand, or just for a wander around. Picnic tables and a grassy place are there for picnics. Views of the Manukau are pleasant too....and it's free!

Always a great place to visit either with children or just yourself.Lovely farm feel and you are free to wonder around through the farm.Awesome area's for picnic's and some BBQ available.Toilets at the start area,nice easy walking.

Free range farm where you wander through the paddocks and interact with the animals. Milking at 10, get involved and pat the cows. There's sheep, bunnies, goats, pigs. Springs a great time to see all the baby animals and bottle feed calves and lambs. Good toilet and hand washing facilities. Plenty places for picnics and bbqs.

Great place for a trip and the whole experience is free. See cows being milked (and you can help out) calves and lambs fed along with a whole range of other animals including pigs, sheep, chickens, turkeys etc. Good tracks for biking but need a mountain bike. Also has a BBQ area and open areas to run around.

Spent the day at Ambury and even though it was threatening to rain, we managed to have a picnic without getting wet. We had two under 5's with us so could only do the farm walk which proved very exciting for the kids. Love this place. Great for all the family. Good chance to slow those "townies" how the country folk live!

Next to the water - farmland with milking cows (demo daily) and nice walks with views to see pigs, sheep, etc...particularly recommended for people with young children!

This is a great place to take a picnic and spend some time. If you have cycles, take them and take advantage of the walking/cycling tracks around this area. Also tent and campervan facilities -no power and only shower and toilet with access to fresh water.
