My wife and I stayed at the Kihei Surfside right next to this beach, May 2012. We love to snorkel. The sandy beach provides an easy access to some great snorkeling reefs. We have seen many fish and several turtles.

I do my morning beach walk nearly every day down this beach, from the Kihei Boat harbor, down to the Wailea MArriot and back. And love to watch the sun come up over Haleakala on my route:) Beautiful peaceful time for me to start my days.

This little hidden gem of a beach is great for all users. It is a very nice long sandy beach with very good waves. There is no shore break or large waves crashing down on you. Perfect little spot for stand up boarding, as well as bogey boarding. Also, good just for that spot to catch some rays, play in...

We hung out down here after having dinner at the 5Palms at the Mana Kai in Kihei! Such a great spot. The kids could run around while my husband and I relaxed and watched the sunset! A great location!

This is my second visit to Maui in as many years and we have been lucky to visit many of the Kihei and Wailea beach areas. This is by far my favorite! The waves are a nice size most of the time for boogie boarding, but not super dangerous like some of the beaches like Big Beach. The visibility is...

One of my favorite beaches. Bring an umbrella and lots of sun screen as there are no trees for shade. The beach is best early in the day as the wind could kick up around noon. Bring beverages but everyone please take your trash with you.

Probably the best choice in the area. Snorkeling possible, and so diving although probably nothing special in this dive.

in south Maui this beach is clean and peaceful with snorkelling by the rocks that is pretty good - amazing if you see a water turtle loom over you, as big as a small car!!!
