The Weinberg Center for the Arts in beautiful historic downtown Frederick, MD bills itself at the jewel of Frederick, and that's indeed the case. Just an hour's drive from Baltimore, Washington, Annapolis, Harrisburg, it's got a line-up of shows that rival anything put on in those cities, but without the high cost of tickets (average in DC = $100, Weinberg... I love the variety of shows that come. I've seen performances by Jim Brickman, the Ballet, National Deaf Theater, and so many more. I grew up looking forward to opportunities to go! More

We went to the premiere of StepDance and, as always, were very impressed by the Weinberg's customer service, beautiful venue and top-notch offerings. We love the beautiful art deco touches and really appreciate the attentive service, which begins at Will Call and concludes with helpful ushers working to solve any problem you might have. The inexpensive parking in the adjacent... More

Howie Mandel put on a great show. The theatre was beautiful and the staff was friendly and efficient. I couldn't believe how wild the audience was. I believe the comic said it was the first time he ever had an audience heckle other audience members. More

The musical performances I have attended there have been excellent. The acoustics of the hall are better than average but the charm brings back memories of a more friendly, relaxed time. More

The newest redecorating is almost finished which gives this a much lighter and brighter feeling. A variety of exits makes it easy to get in and out of your seats. More

This is an ideal place to see nearly anything if you like close intimate venues. It's been restored and is constantly being maintained and improved. I'm not aware of any bad seats as it's so small. Do not hesitate to see a show. Parking is in a connected deck around the corner. More
