A lot of fun in a group of friends but not for dancing. VERY, VERY smoky but then again so is every bar and club in Atlanta. Good prices on the drinks. I have been going to blakes for a few years now. It is a nice place to have some drinks but if you are looking to dance I would go elsewhere. The drag show is ok. Very crowded and the performers dance in a small circle that the crowd moves out of the way for. The bartenders are nice and... More

Excellent local gay & lesbian bar. Fun place to go for happy hour. If you find yourself arriving in Midtown on a Sunday - stop by Blakes... Very busy on Sundays. More
