We biked in the park in the early evening and had a great time. We rented our bike for only $6/hr at Skate Escape and we blended right in with our rented bikes. A local even commented on how pretty my bike was. We ended the night at Park Tavern with drinks and sweet potato fries. More

Whether looking to take a nice long walk, a quick jog, particpate in a recreational league, or enjoy a festival; Piedmont Park really seems to have something for everyone. Dog lovers can rejoice that it offers a popular, centrally located spot to mingle. The one downside is the lack of free parking if you are not close enough to walk. More

The park is huge. The playgrounds are well kept. The swimming pool looked like great fun. Right next to the botanical gardens which is one of my favorite Atlanta destinations. More

This is one of the parks that functions as a park and much more. I have been to concerts here, festivals here, parties here, and much more. It is truely one of the best parks in Atlanta. It truely has something for everyone. It would be a nice idea to check the calendar of events before venturing out to this... More

Piedmont Park was designed by the same architecht - Olmstead - and, if you have walked around both, you can see vague similarites. Piedmont is so much more than an "urban green space." It's a great place for a picnic, a place for a walk - for you or your dog, a place to go and people watch and soak... More

Happened to be staying at a hotel near this park recently and wandered over there when we had a couple of hours to kill. What a beautiful place! The park was buzzing with activity, including joggers, walkers, bikers, an old guy fishing, and even a commercial being filmed. What a lovely oasis in the heart of the city. More
