Very interesting place. Loved the tours of the swan house and the Smith farm but was very disappointed that pictures were not allowed, however there were no signs stating this and the tour guide didn't know why. Will think twice before coming back. More

My wife and I spent a day exploring the wonderful museum, garden, and houses located at the Center. My wife really enjoyed the Swan House tour, the Farm tour, the gardens, and parts of the museum. I loved the entire experience. The museum does have civil war collections (extraordinary), but sooo much more. The house, farm, and gardens offers a... More

we are not usually one's for museums and the like, but the Atlanta History centre is very well presented. I especially liked the Civil War display with its stories of the individuals involved. The two house tours were very interesting too. I would recommend you don't miss this attraction More

If you're interested in learning about the American Civil War, then the Atlanta History Center is a great place to start. There are also lovely grounds to walk round, and Swan House is worth a visit too. More

The large Civil War exhibit is worth the price of admission by itself, but there is also a large exhibit on the Atlanta Olympics and a 1860s era farmhouse and 1929 mansion on the property that are well worth touring. The Civil War exhibit takes you through the war year by year, with many artifacts to illustrate important points of... More

We have most recently attended at least two Civil War reinactments held at the Atlanta History Center and talso the showing of the Traveling Abraham Lincoln Exhibit. Both were fascinating and mesmerizing in their own ways. What the Atlanta History Center does best is to connect us with history in such a way that we feel a part of it... More
