This was such a fun excursion!!!!!! Such a nice well groomed property with some really neat museum pieces. But for me the star was the train ride!. I turned into a small child once that train pulled up!!!! The volunteers are absolutely wonderful and it is very obvious that they thoroughly enjoy what they do there! Would definitely go back... More

“Great for kids”

Short, short ride. Not worth the dollar expenditure, HOWEVER, any youngster not familiar with the area would find it interesting. The personnel are charming and well informed. Adults also visiting for the first time would find it of interest. In a great location to continue to see other little gems Boulder City has to offer. More

Im a interest nut for old traditional things that are in original state, this railway is one, some enhancements but not to much. More

This train ride was the idea of my girlfriend. She found the website and on further investigation we found out that on weekends - Sat/Sun only - They offer a little 45 minute, fun train ride where they take you through boulder. Make sure to look up what times the trains depart because there are only 4 or 5 rides... More

We were trying to find some kid friendly activities for my 4 year old grandson on a recent business trip to Vegas. We hit the jackpot with the nevada Southern Railway!
