We saw Holst The Planets at the PAC and the orchestra was really good. I have some good recordings of this piece and they did not disappoint me. The ASO is one of the most exciting places to visit in Anchorage. We started out going as part of a Humanities course, and have been regulars ever since. For such a small city, the symphony is out of this world!

I think the quality of the orchestra is very good, especially for the size of the city & area they have to draw upon. They do their own performances but also play for many visiting productions. It is a nice amenity to have.

Excellent variety of programming for the novice or trained ear. Introducing generations of Alaskans to the arts. Bravo!
