The Anchorage Museum is a first class Museum; both Art and Historical. It is worth a trip to Anchorage just to visit this world known Museum. You can spend a whole day in just the Smithsonian Arctic Studies Center. Every time we visit Anchorage, the Museum just gets better and better. Hooray for Anchorage! More

The new and updated Anchorage Museum is a place not to be missed. The Alaska Gallery was simply out of this world with their interactive displays. It is not big, but has quite a bit for everyone, including history of the native people, homesteaders and the oil industry and the impact of each on Alaska. Nice kids discovery area too. We saw one planetarium show on the aurora bourelais too. Very nice. More

Not a lot to dislike .Weather was perfect .We were only there for a couple of days so did not have a lot of time to get too far . More
