Shops, pubs and eateries are all over here. You can make a day of checking out University Ave and walking the campus. Even better to come down pre and post Huskies games.

...can be found in the U District! Restaurants for every taste option, including vegan; boat basin for boat rentals; The Quad for amazing springtime blossoms; The UofW campus...one of the most beautiful campuses anywhere. It's all here at the University District!

Nice little, funky shops. Good vibe. You can find some great Indian and Pakistani food here. The University of Washington bookstore in this area has a great selection and is fun to explore. I always visit the U. District whenever I am in Seattle. Easy to take a bus here and it it a nice place to spend an afternoon.
