Having a preference for intimate ballparks, Safeco Field seemed much too big. Retractable roof is a good idea for a place that has lots of rain but it added to the feeling of sitting in a monstrosity. More

I've been to many MLB stadiums across the country: PNC, Wriggly, Busch (the current and the one before), and many more and I'd say Safeco is one of the best. Great sightlines throughout the stadium. Good food. Fun atmosphere (if the Mariners are winning). Just make sure you bring a jacket, it gets cold on the waterfront in the evenings. More
