The University of Washington's Burke Museum we found to be only good. It's not outstanding but worth a visit. Parking for the Burke Museum is pricey.Their arboretum is gorgeous and huge. For a nature walk in the city, it doesn't get better than this. More

Best free event in Seattle. First Saturday in May. Huge yachts, crew races and tons of fun. Take a chair and a blanket- it's chilly. The Husky Crew team is amazing to watch. More

Although I've had only limited experience with the UW, each time it was impossible to take note of how well cared-for the expansive campus is. Their programs are also great, albeit ridiculously expensive. More
