We have spent 3 days here and are so impressed by the facilities. The restrooms are clean, the dock is secure and so quite and the people in the neighborhood are friendly and helpful. ThIs is a great spot!

How can you beat a place where the Marina has alot of boats, you are near Golden Gate Park and Rays Boat House and Anthonys are only steps away. Rays upstairs outside seating during summer is to die for but can be very windy and cool so bring a jacket if you get cold easily.Anthonys is great and protected by... More

Go out to Shilshole and watch the sunset or grab a bite at Ray's, Paseo, or the burger shack. Better yet, bring a picnic and watch the sun sink into the Olympic Mountains

Shilshole is located just north of downtown Seattle and is close to the entrance to Ballard Locks, so it makes a great place to stop either coming or going from Lake Union and Lake Washington and/or Puget Sound. Facilities are well kept and it provides a decent place to stay for an overnight, although the restaurants and recreational facilities within... More

This is great for out of towners who don't live near the ocean. Best Beach in City limits, not including Alki

I love strolling along the marina, checking out the beautiful boats. Two of my favorite restaurants - Shilshole Bay Beach Club and Anthony's are right nearby.

The restrooms for guest use are older than I am and pretty basic. The "new" building is only one story tall, and that is a problem. The old... More
