“Excellent marina for the day or for overnight”

Shilshole is located just north of downtown Seattle and is close to the entrance to Ballard Locks, so it makes a great place to stop either coming or going from Lake Union and Lake Washington and/or Puget Sound. I love strolling along the marina, checking out the beautiful boats. Two of my favorite restaurants - Shilshole Bay Beach Club and Anthony's are right nearby. More

OK so the Port of Seattle just "Improved" the marina. Nice visually pleasant office building for the Marina Staff and a few brokers, nice new docks but the guest rate is horrible. The restrooms for guest use are older than I am and pretty basic. The "new" building is only one story tall, and that is a problem. The old... More
