The Henry is by far the most representative of modern, youthful, conceptual art in Seattle. If they have a reception, opening or event listed- by all means try and make it. This is the prime place for 'art meets dance' party events. Well worth the trip to the U-district. More

If my out of town visitors have time to go to only one of Seattle's attractions I bring them to the Henry Art Gallery. The galleries always hold secret treasure and the programming is among the most innovative in the Pacific Northwest. It is a great place to go on a date as it's open airy feel is really romance-y.... Situated comfortably off of Campus Parkway right on UW school grounds, this museum has always been a favorite of mine. It's unique and strange contemporary exhibitions have always caught my eye.
