My fiance and I spent ten days in Alaska last May right after we graduated college. We both love the outdoors and pretty much any activity with an adrenaline rush. We knew we wanted to sea kayak while in Seward but had no idea who to talk to or what kind of trips were available. After getting a recommendation from... More

Went on a 4 hour evening tour (starting around 6pm). We were the only kayaks on the water - 2 teenage kids, myself and our KAW guide. Had a blast and one of the more memorable days of our 2 weeks Alaska trip. Evening time just added to the experience. The guide was incredibly knowledgable on all matters of the... More

We went to Northwestern on a 5 day expedition with Kayak Adventures (KAW) in July 2012. I talked to almost every outfitter in Seward during the planning phase. From the reviews posted on TripAdvisor and my interactions, I narrowed down to two - Kayak Adventures and Liquid Adventures. The reason I went with KAW was because they were able to... More

I will add to the accolades given in previous reviews about the unparalleled experience of kayaking Aialik Bay, the beauty of the glaciers, and the variety of wildlife we saw. Fran led our trip with Buddy assisting her. Both took great care of us during the day ensuring our comfort, safety, and being enthusiastic in their tour leadership. I appreciated... More

As an inexperienced kayaker, I was very nervous about heading out on the water. We were well taken care of and had an amazing time. I would recommend Kayak Adventures to anyone.

Each glacier is different and getting to this one required a trip in a water taxi. The trip was long but exciting because we would slow down to watch humpbacks, seal lions, puffins and otters. Then we kayaked to the glacier through a fjord. We were a small adventuresome group so we went right through the ice field, and ate lunch,... More

We booked a half day kayaking trip in Resurrection Bay and were pleasantly surprised when we were the only people at that time. We had a private guided tour on a clear, non-windy afternoon. Our guide was friendly, knowledgable and easy to get along with. He took us to a secluded beach where we were able to walk around and... More

The all day kayak trip to Aialik bay was about $400 per person, expensive, but SO much fun! There were two other couples in our group so it was relatively intimate. Buddy was our guide and he did an outstanding job! He grew up in Seward and was very knowledgeable and personable. Safety always came first. The trip started out... More

This was one of the more expensive things we did while on our trip in Alaska, but I got to say it's worth it. We did the Aialik Glacier trip. We signed up for the We took a water taxi over to Aialik Bay which is a good 2 1/2 hour trip. It was not boring, however, as both our... More
