“Over the volcano and back again...”

This was a full island tour from Kailua Kona to the volcano and then up the Hamakua Coast to see the waterfalls... The lava was flowing pretty fast, we saw Halemaumau crater, & a fully intact WWII B-52 Bomber that had crashed into one of the valleys... A really fun ride. More

Took the doors off valcano trip. We got some great views of the lava flowing down the mountain and the many vents which are in a line going down to the sea. Physically challenged folks - No Problem for these guys! Kaniela and Koji were incredible with my 75 y/o mom with replacement knees on the "Hawai'i Experience". I was incredibly disappointed when our "Feel the Heat" doors off helicopter tour was cancelled due to bad weather - it was actually hailing at Hilo airport. Aloha, Weather cancels are never fun. Especially if you drive from Kona to Hilo for you Air Adventure - we get that. Thanks for being understanding.
