Mary is a very hospitable soul who knows her history. Interesting things for show and sale in the store. We know what it takes to manage and maintain a showplace like this. Even though everything is rustic and 'old', it still takes daily physical work to take care of things. The video tape is old school, so that's kind of... More

Hey... if you like history, especially history of the American West, this is a very cool place. It is mostly outdoors, and the treasures appear to be subject to the weather a bit, but the staff / owners are EXTREMELY knowledgable about the subject matter. This is a Ph.D. place with humor mixed in. The staff could deliver a formal... More

Since we are history buffs and just like the Old West, we knew we wanted to go here! Friendly ladies greeted us and told us about the town and a little history. You get an old-fashioned cassette recorder to narrate what we were seeing and some more history. This is a self-guided tour and you get to enter the buildings... More

Finally found the place and all it was were shed like buildings with a fence around them on an acre of land. Got the feel that everthing was "staged" to seem like an old west town. Don't waste your time.

What a wonderful blast from the past! The staff is so friendly and very informative. We loved the large tape recorders they handed us to narrate our journey through the old town. It was very informative and really intriguing. Even our 6 and 8 year old loved seeing these old buildings.

This is really tough to rate. Be prepared for lo tch. They hand you an old cassette player and you walk around the town with it on a self guided tour. But don't be fooled, this is a great picture of history and worth the stop. The lady running it is great and will tell you a few interesting historical... More

This was a fun, interesting tour. Friendly staff. You get a tape recorder to listen at your own pace. It provided a nice history lesson for our 5 and 8 year old children. For $5 each, it's definitely worth the price. There is a nice gift shop, also.

I thought this was another "Wild West" tourist trap. Nothing could be further from the truth. This family has collected buildings from the area and rebuilt the town of Moss/Four Mile. It was a stagecoach stop, It was a fort, It was a town. This is a museum that you can walk into and touch. It is well researched and... More

5$ a person. 13 of the buildings are original. What a tough time people had back in the day. 6 & 8 year old had a good time. . Spent 15$ for 2 hours of self guided tour. Can't beat that.
