We took the ferry down the Mississippi on a day threatening to rain. Glad we took our rainjackets because just after starting on our journey down the river the heavens opened, like a faucet! It was fun tho, and there is a cover over the outside deck so a bunch of us stood there and enjoyed the elements. They sell... More

The food was pretty good but the Dukes of Dixieland band were AMAZING! We had a great time on the dinner cruise. More

The cruise is a must do when in New Orleans. The cruise downriver and back up is interesting and provides a different perspective. The commentary from the captain was informative and highlighted many of the key landmarks and events. But the dinner is disappointing. It was like a rush to the food trough and to eat in the shortest possible... More

If you are hot and need to chill this is a great way to while away a few hours. The queue to get on is daunting but if you sit and let everyone else get on you will still find a seat! More

My wife and I took a cruise on The Natchez in the afternoon of May 2nd. It was very relaxing and a very nice way to spend the afternoon. Food and drink were available but we did not buy any. The food, which was from a buffet, looked good. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. There was a... More

We were told that the Steamboat Natchez was something you had to do while in New Orleans. Although it is cool to say you were on a steamboat, I would recommend saving your money for this 2-hour waste of time. Don't get me wrong, we had beautiful weather and it was nice to be outside on the deck looking at... More

We were disappointed that you did not enjoy your cruise on our authentic steamboat and can more easily address your concerns if you would provide more information. There are speakers throughout the boat so we will certainly check them to see which one was not providing the clear sound for the narration. Additionally if this was a day cruise the... More

I was down in NOLA for a conference, but as a Northeasterner, I read lots of Mark Twain growing up. As such, I knew I had to get on that mighty Mississippi and what better way to do it than on a real Steamboat! I didn't have the diner, since a lot of people said it wasn't great, and I... More

This was so dissapointing, we were looking forward to this and it couldn't have been more boring. My daughter and I both fell asleep, the pa system was very muffled so we couldn't make out half of the info that was being said in the beginning , then we were supposed to have a jaz band playing music the whole trip... It was great to see the city and surrounding areas from the Mississippi River. We took the afternoon cruise without the meal. They were very knowledgeable in the history of the port and the surrounding areas. It was a nice way to see the city without a large crowd. More
