Although we didnt get to go on a street car they look great! They have three different lines that take you to 3 different parts of the city, they coast 1,25 dollars each way and i believe one of the lines is 13.2 miles long!Good value for money.Make sure you have the exact change though.
The best $1.25 you'll spend. Easy & lazy way to see New Orleans beyond the French Quarter and get around to other neighborhoods, like the Garden District. Nicely refinished wooden benches are pretty comfortable and the breezes through the open windows were refreshing. This was a great way to see some of the beautiful old homes of NOLA. Many riders...

Of course you have to ride a streetcar in New Orleans. But after the novelty just take the bus, it's more comfortable and faster.

There are some 5 Streetcar lines for travellers to pick from and we generally had no problems. Incredible value - $3 gets you unlimited use of the entire city's public transit - heck of a deal! And we took advantage as they deliver you to many of the city's prime attraction!

After riding one to the Canal at Bourbon stop, we got off to "connect" the one that appeared that it would take us close to the WWII museum. There were enough people waiting at that...

I rode the street cars 3 of 7 days I was in NOLA. They are a cheap way to get around, but if you need to transfer, or have missed a car, you can wait 15-20 mins. That is a long time when the sun is beating down on you. Bring water because a lot of the cars do not...
