This is absolutely a "must" tour if you are going to New Orleans. If you want to spend a fabulous day with a delightful and knowlegeable guide, then Tree is your man. We had a wonderful day with Tree including a great walk through the Garden District and then a fabulous lunch at the Commanders Palace. This is an absolute... More

This tour is THE tour to take when visiting New Orleans! Tree's tour is informative, entertaining, irreverent, and the most fun you will ever have touring New Orleans. This is no ordinary walking tour. It's an animated storytelling and culinary extravaganza! The Garden District and Lafayette #1 cemetery segment of the tour lasted from 10am until around 1pm. The 4... More

Don't let the price scare you. What you get for it is unbelievable and well worth it. This is the best walking tour available in New Orleans and I have been on many. Tree is very knowledgeable and quite an entertainer. His stories are very fascinating and informative. The culminating lunch at Commanders Palace is the icing on the cake.... More

We were a group of 7 women in town for 3 days of the NOLA experience. We were all SO happy we picked Tree to show us around the Garden District rather than take some ordinary walking tour. Tree is animated, dramatic and chock full of facts, but he relays those facts through his delightful storytelling. The 3-hour walking tour... More

Forget any other Garden District tour, they will pale in comparison. This is no 90 minute stroll... be prepared to spend to whole day touring the Garden District, hearing fascinating stories, learning about important locals, and just having a great time. To make the long day more comfortable, you will have access to a "walking stool", a walking stick that... More

Consistent with these other reviews, we found this tour to be a perfect melange of history, storytelling and superb cuisine. Tree is extraordinarily entertaining, freely sharing his knowledge, suspicions, and ironic observations with passion and an obvious love and appreciation of NO and the Garden District. The lunch at Commanders Palace was memorable and wonderful; the staff clearly have a... More

Tree's tour is FANTASTIC! First, the tours are small, so we all got to know Tree and each other quite well by the end of the day. And we really do spend the WHOLE day together, it seems! New Orleans is already a fascinating city, but Tree's endless enthusiasm and knowledge of everything under the sun makes the day just... More

If I could give a ten star rating, it would be for Tree and the Racontour of the Garden District! It was the best tour ever!! Tree's knowledge and passion for New Orleans is remarkable and he made the tour so much fun! He makes sure all his guests are comfortable with walking sticks that have a seat, so you... More

It's ALL TRUE people! Do not miss this tour! Best tour EVER! Tree (yes, that's his real name!) is, at heart, a storyteller extraordinare! He has a passion for NOLA, the Garden District, and the fine dining at Commander's Palace, and IT SHOWS! You will NOT be disappointed.
