After 3 GPS's not agreeing, we finally arrived ( crossing a levee seems to throw a GPS). The tour of the home was well done by the director of the project and she was knowledgeable of architectural details The Gardens were well maintained with ample information; the children's garden was especially fun.Parking was easy and near by. This is worth... More

This was a nice place to visit, even with my kids. We only visited the gardens. Was very peaceful and pretty. More

The home is maintained very well and has a wide variety of antiques inside and outside along with a lovely historic garden. Longue Vue offers alot of programs for the community. More

Went between Christmas and New Year's Day. This is a grand old estate that is authentic to the time period, which is the mid half of the 20 th century. Even the Christmas tree was decorated with ornaments from that period! The gift shop is nice and the lady who works there is very helpful. And the gardens are incredible.... More

Out of the normal path of vacationers but certainly worth while to visit. Also provides history of the Stern family who was vital to New Orleans progression at the time they lived here. Has a small shop to bring gifts home - interesting book about the Stern family, the heiress of the Roebuck (as in Sears, Roebuck). More

The home of the Stern family is lovely - fairly modern. Be sure to see the Times Picayune loving cups won by both Mr. and Mrs. Stern. Gardens are nice but nothing spectacular. More

Plenty to see even after a hard freeze. The Camelia's are in bloom. Can't wait till spring. The house is beautiful. The price is very reasonable too. I'd pay again and again just to walk the gardens. Plenty of photo ops in the gardens but picture taking is forbidden inside the house itself. Awesome way to spend a day. More

This estate in the middle of New Orleans is really pretty. The tour of the house and gardens is a must in the spring when the azaleas are blooming in spring! More
