Storyland was my favorite as a kid in New Orleans, the new and improved version is even better...more attractions than when I was a kid. I recommend visiting during Christmas in the Oaks.

Whimsical park for children themed with characters out of nursery rhymes, our 6 year old loved climbing over and crawling under the exhibits! Perfect for the younger set 4-5 small rides & 4-5 fast rides. Gotta love the story book play park leading up tothe rides! $3.00 entrance fee or and all day ride pass available! Love the train that takes u around the enites city park! Awesome Ferris wheel and caraousel as well. Concession stand is reasonablly priced. NO SHADE!! Yuck!! Seating/benches...

kids (3,5,8) love this place no matter what. It can get hot, but they have the misting/spraying area.

My grandchildren love to visit Soryland. It is small, charming and safe for most ages. Located in City Park, you can stop here for awhile and let the kids revisit their favorite storybook characters.

I went during Christmas time and it was lovely. I like the way the lights and decorations were blended in with storyland. Its worth going to in Dec! Lots to do for kids also.

The coolest place in the world for any kid. If you haven't taken your kids...get on it! I think every state should have a place like this!

when I was a kid, you could hear the stories associated with each tableaux. Especially nowadays when kids don't all know the fairytales, this is needed.

They have mother goose and different characters from story books for children. There are slides there and it is a nice place for children to play. You can park really close. I would go back again if I had small children to bring.
