We were visiting Madison on Mothers Day weekend and we went down to the Capital to check it out. We were surprised to find dozens and dozens of food, clothing, jewelry and plant booths setup all around the Capital. It was awesome! Fun place to go for your birthday to get a free mug with your beverage of choice to drink, a balloon and the world smallest ice cream sundae. They sing to you and announce your name when they add it to the birthday name board. Love the gritty burger and their gritty sauce. More

The concerts on the square on a Wednesday evening from the end of June thru July are a lovely way to spend an evening. Take along a picnic or buy food from the many vendors. Saturday morning farmers market is agreat way to spend a couple of hours wandering round and buying some great products. More

Tulips in bloom all around the square, the building was open to visitors even on Easter Sunday - couldn't believe it. Absolutely amazing!!! More
