Beautiful gardens that many people don't know about. Great place for a stroll or to look for new plants for your own garden.

We try to visit Allen Gardens at least once a summer and more if possible. It is well-maintained and beautiful; a gem in the midst of the university area.

The landscaping is simply outstanding. Many pepole pose for graduation and wedding photos here. The variety of walkways and flowers and garden niches are beautiful

I was pleasantly surprised by the number of flowers in the Allen Centennial Gardens in September. The garden is small but well worth a short stop on the western end of the campus. The house on the grounds is very pretty. Work was being done in the garden when we visited; it should be quite nice next year.

Allen C Gardens is undergoing some restoration, so it was partly under construction. Many beautiful and interesting flowers and plants, with numerous labels.
