Quiet and tons of differant types of plants and trees, marked so you know what you are looking at. Good parking and nice trails, all close and in a city without the city feeling. More

The UW Arboretum is a destination for garden lovers not to miss. It's over a thousand acres, I believe, with many carried habitats, maple woods, open gardens, wetlands, and miles of trails. Spend an hour or a day. For me, it's a place to visit again and again. More

What a gem in the heart of madison! I love going there on my lunch hour for a quick peaceful walk or on the weekends with my family to watch deer or wild turkey that you can sometimes catch right about dusk in the fall and spring! More

Great place to see a prairie, a marsh, walking, skiing, biking and lilacs. Wonderful place to just get away and soak up some nature right in the city. More

The Arboretum is a great place to go for a run or a walk on a sunny summer day. It's great for a cross country ski trip and is very accessible. More
