We've had a family membership at MCM since our son was a toddler. Lots of fun and interactive things to do. Really appreciate the separate area for younger kids as the other play spaces get pretty wild when the museum is busy. We visited the Madison Children's Museum in the winter, so the cabin and rooftop space were not open. The rest of the museum was wonderful. I was excited when they finished this remodel because the old Madison children's museum was really geared toward the 5 and under crowd ONLY. Was a little bit apprehensive taking my 8 & 11 year old there but there was plenty to do. Give yourself at lest 2-3 hours in order to take it all in.
