It's around 15-20 kms away from the city and probably the reason most visitors prefer Alleppey beach over this one. But this beach is much better than the Alleppey beach. Lined by coconut trees, this beach offers very beautiful view of the sunset. Take a walk along the beach while sun is setting. However, the beach gets very steep so... More

Serene and enjoyable. Not crowded, and sunset was beautiful. Very relaxing and enjoyable. As with any beach in our country, public has to be responsible by not throwing litter and being partners in maintenance. Some minimum infrastructure like a few benches and life guards is essential even as a paid service.

We were advised to go to this beach by the owner of the homestay we were staying at (Palmy Residency). Took about 45 minutes to get to by tuk tuk, but well worth the drive. Incredible clean sand, warm water and trees from paradise!

This is a must visit place. A white sand beach with no tourist rush. Absolutely clean. A walk along the shore is memorable. You find few people from abroad swimming in the sea and then some from India. On the whole it is a peaceful, calm and with blue water.

I went there with a few friends....we didn't plan a visit at first. But a long drive ended in marari beach in the evening. It was a wonderful experience. The beach was practically deserted except a few locals. Its was a clean beach with clear blue skies, coconut trees n the waves crashing.... It was postcard perfect. We had a... More

Marari beach is still quite unknown...So few tourists...Few hotels...and unforgettable staying! We were staying in Marari Dreamz Homestay and everything was perfect.

We were told that locally it was called the secret beach and it was, it was deserted. It was a lovely day out, warm water, clean sand and plenty of shade. Only problem was that it was hard to reach, short ride in a tuktuk, also no food nearby.
