This was such an interesting ride, we rode all around the national forest and they told us awesome stories about the pioneers that settled the area. I love this ride!

We had a great time, the horses were very well behaved and the views were great. Angie (the red head guide) was great, always making sure we were having fun and telling us about the area we were in. We will be going back again.

After reading the reviews here my husband and I decided that we would give smoky mountain riding stables a shot. We arrived around 1pm. The lady at the office was very friendly. My husband is deaf and I was surprised that she took the initiative to suggest he ride behind me so I could communicate/interpret throughout the ride. The price...

Nice take-in about 4 miles outside Gatlinburg. The hour ride was closer to 1 hour and 15 minutes. For $30, it was well worth it. It's a single file, guided tour. There were 5 riders when we went and 2 guides. The trails are relatively flat making them easier on the knees and behnid. The scenery included quiet forest, wild...

My family of 5 just visited Smoky Mtn Riding Stable and we all LOVED our experience!! Our tour guide was Angie...she was really great with us. She was really great with my two youngest children. My youngest daughter was nervous, but Angie was really patient with her. This is our first vacation in TN and taking the horseride was a...

Great 5 mile stretch of the Smoky's. Friendly staff and very well kept horses. No need for an appt- drive ups are welcome. The tour is at least 1 hour= the trail is up and down the mountain- horses are very tame and mild- good behavior for a beginner. Used a combo ticket. Make sure to secure camera on the...

The staff explained the experience well. A guide went with us and made sure no one ventured off on their own. I am an experienced rider, but the trip was great. One horse got spooked and almost threw his rider, but the young man was an experienced rider, too. The guide thought that a bear may have been there earlier...

We had a group of 17 of us ranging in age from 6-71 yrs. Everyone rode on their own horse over 3 streams and through the mountains. It was very beautiful! There was a photographer on site which took some great shots of our group (extra charge for the CD). My only complaint would be that I wish they offered...

The personnel at this stable were great. We especially enjoyed our guide, Alan. He was very knowledgable and kept pointing out things along the ride. The hour-long trip seemed pretty long and is definitely better for the inexperienced rider.

We did the 2hour-ride. It was straining, but worth the effort and the money. Would do it again.
