We spent the day on the Snake with the most enlightend teacher in Jackson Hole. We received 5 star treatment and were educated in the finer points specific to this River (Snake) and local tips for presentation. The mountain setting in the area is spectacular, however the river ride is fairly boring. There wasn't much to see. The raft goes very slow. Signed up for a wildlife float trip down the Snake River and ended up with a sore butt, wet feet and only saw a few birds and one elk in 2 1/2 hours. Sitting on the edge of a rubber raft without back support for this long is really wearing. Definitely would not recommend, especially for $58 apiece. More

We did an early morning float trip on 6/26/06. Our guide (can't think of her name!) was great, and tried to convince that I really could quit my job and live a life of outdoor luxury in the West! Saw some great wildlife and got some excellent photos--beautiful scenery! We were pleased--definitely recommend this. More
