The tour given by David Sharp at the Waterfront Museum was highly informative and very inspirational. David bought a barge(for one dollar) that was mired in mud over 23 years ago and has restored it to its former glory . He has ,with dedicated ardor, garnered artifacts and informative materials to educate us about the past history of this form...

My students loved the waterfront Museum. David Sharp is a born showman. Not only did my students learn about the history of the waterfront, they learned about living on a boat, about a dream, about taking risks etc. In additon they got a juggling show.
