My husband, friends and I took a trip out to Brooklyn to tour the brewery. It was good fun, the guides were informative. You can buy wooden tokens at the start of the tour to purchase beer at the bar at the end. There's no food, but they allow you to bring in your own to sit at the picnic... More

We made the trek all the way to find the Brooklyn Brewery but it was closed! It didn't look like it would be open for a while. It also didn't look that big. The surrounding area was quite dodgy too (we were approached by drunks asking for money). Wouldn't go back. More

This is a lovely brewery in a wonderful neighborhood. The tour is not your normal brewery tour-as it is a small brewery and they really stress the different types of beer they make, how they are made and of course samples if you choose, versus large breweries where you are walking around watching a bunch of machines make beer. The... More

This brewery tour was fun and interesting, and the beer is delicious; I am definitely a convert. The staff are very friendly and entertaining, telling great tales about the history of each beer and of the brewery. The one thing that I didn't figure out until I arrived is that there isn't a bar to sit in while you wait... More

GO, GO, GO, if you can. We enjoyed our rainy saturday afternoon here. We got in early afternoon about 2 and it was busy. Staff is very pleasant and accommodating. BEER SELECTION IS GREAT!!! We left around 5 and the place was packed and I mean packed. There was a waiting line outside of about 75 people waiting to get... More

Great brewery in a great neighborhood. Lots of people sitting around enjoying they're brews sort of beer garden style, but set in a warehouse. Take the tour too if you can! More

We intended going to the brewery on our first visit in August last year but Hurricane Irene stopped that, this time we were determined to go there. We went on the Sunday and arrived early. The welcome from the staff in the little souvenir shop was brilliant in particular MONSTER the cat who must be the best meeter and greeter... More

This was our second HH at the Brooklyn Brewery and we were not disappointed. The beer is always interesting, the atmosphere is lively without being overly crowded. Arrive a little early to line up so you can get a table. It makes all the difference in how long you'll be comfortable staying. There is no food to be found in... More

A one hour tour that zips by. Very professionally presented, including starting by sampling a range of really different beers rather than having to listen forever before getting to the good bit. Atmospheric old building, originally where steel was rolled for skyscraper construction across the East River, now full of shiny stainless steel mash tuns, pipework, dials and gauges. I... More
