This was the best value excursion that we took on our tour in Alaska. It is a family owned sternwheeler trip that includes so much. We saw a floatplane take off, we saw a dog sled demonstration, a very well done Atabascan village, and beautiful fall colors on the river. Highly recommend that you do this. More

This is a bit touristy, with some bits that appear to be pre-recorded. The actual rid on the boat is about 30 minutes each way, with a few stops and disembarking at a replica Alaskan native village. The demonstrations are tightly controlled, but were interesting and informative. This was a very enjoyable trip and very scenic at points. More

Really enjoyed this tour. It was narrated by a professional radio personality who knew how to deliver the material. I especially liked the visit with the Iditarod dogs.
