Only in for the weekend and I must say I definitely got my history fix. Fredericksburg locals are friendly and knowledgeable about the history of this strategic location during the Civil War. The Museum and Cultural Center is a definitely a must see while in town. Very informative and interesting. Also, visit the PNC Bank..it is the oldest building in... More

The Fredericksburg area Museum and Cultural center had friendly courtous staff. The museum exhibits were average. Masonic artifacts are upstairs wich were interesting. The museum spanned two buildings across the street from each other, with a gift shop which was way overpriced. If your short on time skip this one go see something more intresting. More

Visited this museum twice with my family. It's a great museum full of items of local interest. There are sections relating to local art, history, and business. Our children's favorite exhibit is the bank vault you can walk inside. I liked the student art upstairs. My husband enjoyed the war history, and our great-Aunt enjoyed the exhibit with the old-time... More
