There are no words to describe the beauty and functionality of this 70 odd acre gem. Rolling green hills, a lake full of fish, 2 baseball diamonds, soccer fields and the awesome car museum and car shows. THE one thing that sucks are the geese...folks need to STOP feeding them, they defecate (TA doesn't like s..t) everywhere!

Great open space with lots of private spots. Ice skating and snow sledding in the winter. Lots of dogs, and a ready supply of poop bags. No sidewalks, though, pretty thoughtless. Great for picknics, with charcoal grills all over the lower level of the park. Great playground for kids too.

Very spacious and lots of well maintained grilling stations. They offer an excellent online booking service, although it may be considered somewhat pricey...

This park is right near Boston but still in the ton of Brookline. I have been going here since i was a kid both for Sledding on the HUGE hills in the back or for picnics and a pick up game of baseball n the front. Also there is a small pond at the base of the park that is... More

Larz Anderson Park has one of the best views of all the pubic parks in Brookline. There are other parks from which you can see the tallest of downtown Boston buildings but the view from Larz Anderson is arguably the best as the park is so large and never really seems too crowded. In addition to the view, there's plenty... More

I took my fiance to see this place on 10/20/2012. This building is beautiful. It only took about an the only hour to see everything. I'm not a huge old car fan but, I was very amazed to see the cars that were there. Especially the ones on the lower floor. You can take pics, no flash photography though. It... More

I used to take my class here to fly their home-made kites and have a picnic. Families can rent an area and have a party/picnic. There is a pond. There is also a time when families can let their dogs run free. There is a place to play with outdoor structures for the little ones. It is so beautiful here!... More

This lovely park is on the former estate of Larz and Isabel Anderson. The park is the home of the antique auto museum which is well worth your time. The grounds are beautiful, extensive and include several ball fields, two ponds, many open fields and a playground. The playground has been a huge hit with our younger friends with several... More

The auto museum is very interesting because the cars are not all restored to better than new. These automobiles are from the earliest days of motor cars and are preserved in the state that the owners left them after use.

The park offers a hill for kite flying and sledding, dramatic views of the Boston skyline, a skating rink, ball fields, extensive picnicking facilities, a lagoon and an antique auto museum. It is well maintained and we visit it often.
