I am an outdoorsy person, but you could not spray enough bug repellant to fend off the mosquitoes at this place... And mammals are nice, but racoons that open your securely tied up trash bags of dirty laundry and drag off bags that don't even contain food? Just plain annoying. I'm guessing that if you weren't tent camping, things would... More

We stayed one night on our way to another destination and wished we could have stayed another night or two. We didn't realize it was so close to Savannah, a city neither my husband nor I have been to, so we will have to stay here again. We enjoyed being able to pull through the side, and the bathrooms near... More

This is the only place we want to stay at the next time we are in Savannah. the campsites are clean, with a fire ring and picnic table. The comfort stations are cleaned on a daily basis and kept well stocked with toilet paper. We chose a site near the playground which proved to be a bit noisy. They have... More

Great way to spend a few hours. Not very large, but about 6 miles of trails. Plenty of places to stop and have a quite and scenic lunch. Only saw a few other people when we were there, but did see a whole lot birds, and even a few deer. More

Camping with your family? With a group? The park has campsites for all. The hiking and biking are great, the kids' animal museum is lots of fun. The park is quiet and just off the Intercoastal. More

The camping areas could be a little tight for large rigs but you can get them in I have a 36 ft 5th wheel. The park is what you would expect to see in the south - the live oaks covered in Spanish Moss and swaying gently in the wind. It is a quite and peaceful. I good spot to... More
