I can't imagine a better walking tour in Savannah. We took the 10am group tour with Dan during our recent visit. Dan is a true local with great stories to share about Savannah's history. The tour lasts about two hours, and covers a good section of historical Savannah. Well worth the time and expense..... More

Great tour! Bring your walking shoes but its flat walking for about 2 hours. Dan is funny and makes you understand the full history of Savannah and the parks. Tour goes into a colorful detail of the who and how things were done in the 17-1800'.WELL WORTH THE MONEY! Its very interactive and Dan keeps you pulled in the whole... More

Savannah Dan gives a wonderful walking tour of Savannah. We learned a lot about the city's history. It was nice to be in a small group for the tour. Savannah Dan's knowledge of Savannah, great storytelling, and sense of humor made for a great tour. Not to be missed! More

I was worried that this maybe very twee and that Dan might be cringe worthy - wrong! We had a wonderful 90+ minutes. Dan knows a lot and is delighted to share it with you. We learnt so much - both "real" history as well as gossip and innuendo! It was fantastic. He is a larger than life character but... More

I selected this tour based on previous TripAdvisor reviews, and they were spot-on. The two hours with Savannah Dan passed quickly. His presentation was spin-free, substantive and humorous. If you are leery about being on your feet for two hours, Savannah Dan builds a nice break right around the 70-minute mark: a trip inside St. John the Baptist Cathedral, where... More

Savannah Dan is a great source of information, presented in a humourous and articulate way. The 90 minutes we spent with him will be remembered by our group forever; he made history come to life and gave us a sense of Savannah that we could not have had in any other way. I only wish we could have spent more... More

History would be everyone's favorite subject if they had Savannah Dan to help them understand it. What a refreshing , straight-forward account of Savannah , not a "sanitized" version which results when various pressure groups want the story told their way. Oh how nice it would be if he could use the ear buds so everyone in the group could... More

Dan was informative while still being entertaining, the tour stayed interesting and he made us all laugh. He has a very natural, easy way about him, which is nice. Over our three days in Savannah, we encountered several other tours and determined we had been on the best one. The trolleys are loud and obnoxious, walking is really the way... More

We just returned from Savannah and had a terrific visit in the beautiful & quaint city. We try to take a motorized tour and a walking tour of each city to "experience the flavor" of the city and to get to see the "highlights". Savannah Dan is a stand out Highlight. Savannah Dan is a walking History Lesson with your... More
