I'm a big fan of the outdoors AND history but to me, this was just an average park. It's a rectangular hill with a view of a mediocre skyline and that's about it. Oh, and the parking is awful just like everywhere in Baltimore.

This historical setting is just a short walk from the pavilions at the inner harbor and offers quite a spectacular view and a great place to take pictures.

I'm from Baltimore. Federal Hill didn't get it's name for nothing. Sure it's got a great view of the downtown for the tourists, but it's got historical importance that the tourists don't know about. The hill (really a park) goes back 230 years to the birth of the nation. Here the people of Baltimore celebrated the signing of the constitution,... More

If you'd like to take in the entire Inner Harbor, all at once and see where everything is without getting wet, take a jaunt over to Federal Hill. For the hearty, there's the hike up the grass, or for the more sedate-look around--there's stairs. Once at the top, there's the view, but also some interesting historical monuments and even a... If you are visiting Baltimore, this is a must do and a great way to cap off a stroll around the Inner Harbor. Not only does the hill provide a sweeping view of the harbor and surrounds, you can also see all around the city. We always do the obligatory photo of "visitor with harbor in background!" I would suggest... More

Nice view of the Inner Harbor. Pretty windy up there in March. The local dogs seem to enjoy it. That's about it.

Lovely little park with sweeping water views and benches to sit. Right near Museum of Visionary Art and Rusty Scupper so you can accomplish a lot in a very short distance.

You won't regret the huffing and puffing when you get to the top and see the amazing view of the harbor and all its glory. If you have kids, the bonus is at the top there is a playground!

One only has to go there once to appreciate what this spot offers. It sits high above the Inner Harbor in Baltimore giving you a view of the harbor, promenade, pavilions, various boats and yachts, the Science Center and the Aquarium. Whatever time you visit will give you a different feel. The mornings and afternoon on the weekend are usually... More
