“Many interesting stories.”

We went there on a tour offered by a local historian. All different shapes and size headstones and some very interesting stories about Baltimore and its citizens. The place is enourmous and some areas maybe difficult to get to for those with limited walking. We were given a map of the cemetary with the most historic and visted gravesites marked.... More

Every city has at least one cemetery that is THE cemetery for the area. The place where everyone from the rich and famous, to the poor and unknown, to the notorious are interred and memorialized. How about a Ouiji Board headstone? Or a coffin encased in glass? Where is John-Wilkes Booth buried? Take the annual cemetery tour and find out...or go on your own. More

If you like victorian cemeteries this place is for you. We found John Wilkes Booth family plot with little problem. We also went into the crematorium--the doors were open.
