We visited here after some of the other breweries in town and did not care for the beer at all. We are mostly porter and stout beer drinkers and most of what they had at the time was IPAs and Lagers, if you're into these then this is the place for you (it was crowded w/ a lot of college... More

Drove from Seattle to Astoria specifically to check out this brewpub. Nice brewpub atmosphere. Host was friendly. Waitress seemed a bit harried, although to her credit she did a good job considering it was surprisingly busy at 2 PM on Saturday. The Blue Scorcher Bakery Cafe in the Fort George Brewery building will have you coming back for more. The space is eclectic, organic, and chic in a tofu kind of way. Ft. George makes phenomenal beer and has great atmosphere. Make sure you check out the murals in the bathroom during your visit! More

After one afternoon in the tap room with sampler trays and a couple of pints, we returned for the Festival of the Dark Arts - with over twenty five stout beers on tap from around the Pacific Northwest. Fort George did a great job with logistics - it was alot of fun and we will be going back! More
