Purchased tickets online for the Sunday event. Did not see anywhere on the site that we could purchase tickets for bleacher seating or would have done so. Once we arrived started seeing people with wristbands so inquired what these were for and found out that for $10 per person could purchase tickets to sit in the bleachers. Okay, no problem....went... I went with with my teenaged sons and was teribly disappointed. the ticket prices outrageous. For all that money we were forced to stand in hot humid conditions. Well worth the trip! Be sure to visit all of the reenactment tents throughout the field. Plan on leaving at least an hour early to get there on time. From either end you can watch troops assembling and some cannon close-up, but action gravitates towards center. Fork out the extra for the bleachers and elevation (binocs' help regardless) - and - be prepared to grab the better seats an hour before showtime.
