The best is the how authentic the materials Mr. Gibson uses; as though we were in 1863! A great time with great results!

I was so glad i stopped at Gibson's photographic Gallery. Rob and Dee were so great . Please if you want quality work stop here dont go where they just dress you up and take a picture. Rob and Dee walk you thru the process and it is amazing. Thanks Dee and Rob. you made Mike and Jim's trip.
On a whim, took three kids - two boys & one girl [ages 11 & 10 years old]. The owners were so nice and very interested in giving the kids a fun and educational experience. Rob's wife dressed each child with care and made one particularly nervous girl so at ease I didn't think we'd get the costume off her!...

Rob Gibson is a master photographer. The methods he uses for wet plate and tintype photos are completely authentic, and his spouse/dresser is attentive and extremely helpful in choosing the correct attire and accessories to complement the sitter. Loved our experience at Gibson's. The photograph turned out beautiful and we got a first-hand look at the wet plate photography technique that dates back to the 1800's.
We didn't have reservations and just stopped by. They could fit us in and dressed us in authentic Civil War period outfits. It was expensive but to actually get your picture taken with a 150 year old camera and watch the whole process was an amazing experience. We purchased the pictures and they became the souvenirs that we brought home...

Before we went, I read every review I could find.
So I went into Rob's studio with very high expectations.
All of our expectations were exceeded!
As Dee got the girls ready.
Rob outfitted the boy and I in authentic cavalry and officer uniforms.
Rob then took us through the photo process from times of old.
Pictures in the 1800's...

We dressed as a Union Colonel and his wife dressed in her finest ballgown. You get to even watch the amazing process to develop your photograph. This was one...
